Add to Lightbox DownloadTexas' Lt. Governor, William P. Hobby, Jr. (born Jan. 19th, 1932) in his office at the Texas Capitol in February, 1987 at the start of his fifth term in office. After serving as the House Parliamentarian, Hobby was elected as Lt. Gov. of the State of Texas in November, 1972 and served until succeeded by Bob Bullock in 1991. Hobby's father, William P. Hobby, was also Lt. Governor and governor of Texas. Hobby is posing with children from the Washington's Birthday celebration from Laredo, TX.
