Historial David McCullough Dies at 89

Author DAVID MCCULLOUGH, two-time Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winner, whose best-selling biographies of Harry Truman and John Adams made him one of America’s most popular and acclaimed historians, died at 89. McCullough, who won the prizes for biographies on Truman (1992) and Adams (2001), was a featured author at the 2005 Texas Book Festival in Austin.
